Kim Wan artist
Kim Wan "makes" paintings, drawings and objects, which he imbues with a gestural and authentic finish. These build up over time to create new bodies of work. Through investigation, and personal reflection, a symbiotic process begins and the work takes on its own identity. This is process-led and involves different materials.
Kim Wan, artist, travels frequently, documenting the environments visited; both at home and abroad. Recent collaborations with organisations such as, Arts Council England and Arts & Business have produced works of a consistent and recognisably high standard. Exhibiting widely both nationally and internationally, his work can be said to be indistinguishable from his life.
